Continuation of Membership or Withdrawal of a Club
(A) After 31st December in the current Season a Club intending, or having a provisional intention, to withdraw a team from the 'League' on completion of its fixtures and fulfilment of all other obligations to the 'League' must notify the General Secretary in writing, before the 31st March in each Season or be liable to a fine not exceeding £20 and shall also be liable for its share of any expenses.
All Clubs wishing to remain in membership of the 'League' for the following Season must confirm their intention to do so, in writing, to the General Secretary by the 15th May and the fee paid, to the treasurer, by the 1st August in each year.
(B) A Club shall not be allowed to withdraw any or all of its teams from the 'League' after the 1st August prior to the commencement of the season. Any team infringing this Rule shall be liable to a fine not exceeding £20 per team and shall also be liable for its share of any call which may be made under Rule 5(B).
(C) The 'League' shall have the right to refuse a team permission to withdraw to join another league once the fixtures have been made and to hold the team to its engagements.
(D) Applications may be accepted by the management Committee after the closing date of 1st July but only in exceptional circumstances.
